A Brelish fort in the King’s Forest that went silent. Officially, nobody knows why. Rumours speak of a massacre, soldiers with glowing eyes, and a dead knight who walked. All true.
What the Covenant found
- A courtyard full of the dead, and Lord Tharion Blackbane rising from them.
- Blademarks and soldiers with glowing blue eyes. Vanya Shol d’Phiarlan, a thrall.
- Kaleth Shol d’Phiarlan, a traitor of House Phiarlan.
- In the power room, Mahadi’s ritual, fed by sacrifice and a great Eberron dragonshard.
What they carried out
- The dragonshard, now waiting in the skyship’s core room.
- The book, hidden by illusion. See Lords of Dust.
- A few survivors, now in the skyship’s hold.
